At EcoLogin, we ensure that you forget about the noises of the annoying mobile phones, vehicles and blaring speakers and assure you of a great experience in the deep jungles.
Located 20kms from Kotagiri along the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve, Kil Kotagiri’s striking feature is that it remains closed for regular tourists so it is full of wild animals such as the Indian Gaurs (bisons), leopards, bears, Sambar Deer, elephants, wild boars, porcupines and foxes.
It also has a wide variety of avians such as the emerald doves, red-whiskered Bulbuls, hornbills, Nuthatch, kites and eagles.
We will be trekking through the tea estates and forests to reach a stream. Later, we will trek to reach the viewpoint which offers us a Bird’s-eye view of Bhavani River with its catchment being fully covered with lush evergreen forest. At night, you can play around the campfire or lie down quietly and count the stars in the unpolluted sky above.
